I’ve been a silent rusher for a few years now, though I’ve sent entries/comments and joined some of the show’s contests (The Lucky One movie premiere, Snow White and the Huntsman, KFC GC, and most recently, my sister won the NKOTBSB VIP passes!!!) in the past. Even when I was still working as a producer of a show in another radio station, I would listen to The Morning Rush everyday.
Now, I’ve also influenced my sisters to tune in, and TMR’s a constant topic in our convos.
I was able to find [this video clip] from Chico Garcia’s birthday top ten podcast in 2009. What I said here before is still true. I can’t imagine morning commute without listening to Chico, Delle and Gino: you guys have no idea how many pasaway people in the MRT you’ve saved from my bitchyness, haha! Even when I’m being pushed, stepped on, or I’m already running late, it’s so difficult to be in a bad mood when you just really want to laugh out loud. And when I get to the office, more often than not, I’m able to keep the GV and become more productive.
So, thank you, Kikay Barkada… How you affect other people’s lives is just amazing. And I know that you already know that, because you always express your gratitude to those who tell you so.
I know it’s a bit late, but happy birthday Cocodick! I’ve read the YES! feature and saw your guesting in SPOON, and I remember wishing I have a ‘Chico’ in my life. TaposI wanted to be just like Delle naman, haha! Anyway, that would require a separate blog. HBD Chico!!! <3<3<3
